The crews worked tirelessly in what started to be the heat of a Michigan summer for 5 months, putting the finishing touches on the building on a 25 degree December Michigan day. Doug and Jim cut the ribbon on the new expansion on December 28th, 2012 and beer is being moved in as we speak.

O&W is now proudly distributing Latis Import Beers. PALM
PALM “Speciale Belge" is one of the better Belgian beers of the early 20th century.

Special PALM malts determine its honey-like mellowness and PALM’s own selected yeasts give it a fruity yeast aroma. Fine aroma hops from Kent afford subtle harmony. PALM is the absolute number one “BELGIAN AMBER BEER”.

BOON
Frank Boon is a true artisan brewer and it shows in his lambics. BOON’s beers are all 100% lambic based, no sugars, syrups, or concentrate fruit juice added. His fruit beers are top quality fresh fruit and the air in Lembeek makes his lambics unique. BOON’s beers are capped with champagne corks.

Now Available in FRAMBOISE BOON (raspberry lambic), KRIEK BOON (cherry lambic) and OUDE GEUZE BOON (traditional bottle-conditioned lambic).

Rodenbach
Rodenbach’s subtle sour undertones make it a real thirst-quencher. Acclaimed beer connoisseur Michael Jackson calls Rodenbach “the most refreshing beer in the world.”

Rodenbach Classic’s characteristic taste is achieved through its unique mixed fermentation process, whereby top yeasts and bacterial flora undergo 24 months of maturation in 150 year old oak casks, resulting in the distinctively gentle sour taste for which it is known and loved.

Theakston’s Old Peculiar

Old Peculiar is possibly one of England’s most well-known and loved ales and for many years it was affectionately referred to as Yorkshire’s “Lunatic’s Broth”!

Old Peculiar is a beautiful, yet simple beer, brewed using a blend of the finest pale, crystal and roasted barley with two bitter hops combined with Fuggle hop to produce a full-bodied flavor with subtle cherry and rich fruit overtones.

Steenbrugge
In 2003, the Prior of St. Peter’s Abbey authorized PALM Breweries to brew Steenbrugge Abbey Beer. He instructed the largest family owned brewery to safeguard the legacy of St. Arnold for its descendants. PALM Breweries solemnly vowed to protect this unique and historic recipe.

Available in Steenbrugge Dubbel Bruin and Tripel.

To the normal Beer Drinker that means yum, more Belgium beers…

To the beer geek – yes it’s true! You will now be able to get PALM and Rodenbach on Draft in our market!!! And, of course, YUM!!!!!
