Ashley’s Westland is having a 2012 Invitational Beer Throwdown! 8 Michigan Brewries are participating in a head to head competition and moving through a March Madness bracket system to crown a winner in late April. Each night the breweries compete, the winner will be decided by total number of pints sold from 6pm – midnight.
Wednesday , Jan 11th Saugatuck Brewing Co. went head to head with Arcadia Brewery. The brewery that sells the most pints that night moves onto the next round. Saugatuck featured Black Pale Ale, Singapore IPA, Oval Beach Blonde and E.S.B. Amber.
And the winner is…… SAUGATUCK BREWING COMPANY!
They will move on the next round and face Shorts on Feb. 22nd, 6pm – Midnight. Come down and help a score another victory for Saugatuck.
